CREATIVE ENVIRONMENTS, STUDIO APARTMENTS STEEPED WITH ARTISTIC ENDEAVORS

Photographs & Memories... HAUNT us~!
Worse than an old Jim Croce record that
skips on "Don't spit in the Wind". While
digg'n up scans & slides & negatives &
positives & hard dry chewing gum in
a box with that missing Lucy Van Pelt
PEZ dispenser~ I done come across
some of my old swing'n bachelor
pads...( sniff sniff ) Oh~ don't worry~
I am still a happy bachelor~! I was
crying because~ MAN~ do I miss
all that empty SPACE~! Ya see,
I've been living in Trailers and
RV's since 2002~! And even
though it has been great for
my overall productivity and
quality of creativity (my current
space I call my WOMB), it's the
FUN space, the kick'n back read'n
mags & comics space, the Diner
Booths that served as seperate
Breakfast and Dinner tables,
not to mention doing a little
typing duty after hours etc.

So... take a gander... while I
close my eyes... together, we
can wisk back in time... SNIFF~!

Smell that ? A fresh pot of Luzianne
coffee is on the gas stove-top... and
a little herbage is wafting in the air~!

  1. Lysdexicuss: What a fantastic joint! The booths are the bomb, but I am most envious of the comic spinner. You know what real ones, like the one pictured, go for these days?

That stand-up chair fascinates me. Was it really conmfortable? Could you read in it? How was it used?

I hope your trailer at least has room for a drawing table. -- Mykal

  2. Either your camera had dust in the lens, or your apartments were filled with chunks of floating lint...I hope it was the lens...

Great photos! Now we all know what a bohemian you really are/were! I hesitate to say that I think you may have made a bad deal on those Slurpee cups -- i think diner booths are awesome! I guess they wouldn't fit in yer trailer anyway. Some of those trailers can be quite large and house-like, and some can be as tiny as a horse trailer! Hope yours leans toward the first kind!

    the 'Anti-Procrastinator' chair?!
is it comfy? It resembles something that Hannibal Lector might be strapped to!

Your art and stories are amazing. It was nice to see a few glimpses of stuff on your walls in these pics.

Can you weld some kind of a stand-up toilet? Or is that what the tubing/ bucket is for...?
    ;D

Post more art please, so I can plagiarize/swipe it!

  5. Mykal: Anti-Procrastinator WAS VERY comfortable~! It had a bouncy springy quality, and there was a metal table-top (seen pictured, standing in the wheel-well base) that was inserted into a rod that came up between yer legs (talk about a set-up for a good joke). I usually listened to music while standing/drawing for hours~! I will design a more aesthetic version someday for sure. Here in my trailer I use my BOARD-FOLIO-PACK, a back-pack portable drawing board that I take everywhere~ on my bike~!

Apocolyte: you made me snort maple syrup out my nose~! We should get together for breakfast sometime~!

KW: You also forgot to comment on the MONSTER CRAB SHELL just right of Babs, a 9-incher point to point. Caught the beast meself on the Sassafras river in Maryland.
