Lysdexicuss: Who wouldn't order lunch every day from The Nite Owl? My god, what a great idea! In a college town? A gold mine. Banks were not known for their vision then, and they are not known for it now. Banks are the discrace of our times, and this certainly proves it. -- Mykal
Banks are notorious for their snobbery...No high falootin' bank would admit to being linked to any business that makes reference to portrayals of dead pop culture icons like the stooges, unfortunately. Just go look at any New Yorker cartoon and you'll see what upper class society finds funny...hilarious cartoons like a scene depicting a couple at a posh exclusive french restaurant, and the consierge is pouring the wine, and the couple is giving each other subtle looks as they realize the vintage is NOT correct on their bordeaux...HAHA!!! Get it? HA!
Seriously, (not to go off your topic, but)someone gave me a book called 'the best cartoons from the New Yorker', and I'll be danged if one cartoon is the least bit humorous. Money can't buy you love, or a sense of humor...
By the way, I love the stooges here! "We forgot our umbrellas!" "Shad-aap!"
