I have wanted to do a Sports-related
Fortuna Card for a while, along the lines
of a Baseball or Football card. Since I am
originally from the Philadelphia area~
(boooo ! hissss) and therefore by nature
a sad-sack sucker for Philly Teams~
and since Cliff Lee re-signed with
the Phillies in the off-season, giving
them the most deadly Pitching rotation
in the History of the Sport~ I decided,
NOW was the perfect time to honor
the Great American Past-Time with
old-school Lady Luck. It is also the
1st piece of artwork drawn & colored
exclusively on a Wacom Bamboo
Graphics Tablet (that Santa brought
me). So, no trees were injured in the
making of this card...
Until I printed a couple hundred
and laminated them ;~j
Below are all the previous Fortunas,
in descending order, 2010~2000 !
Bravo! So the Wacom tablet is working well for you, huh? I'm jealous of your knack for taking to it so fast.
ReplyDeleteApparently there's some kind of app you can get for an IPad to draw on it now. I wonder if that would be easy to use since you can draw right on the screen.
"Find the sweet spot and just make contact."
ReplyDeleteI have based my life on this concept. It looks as though you are really getting the hand of that pad. The coloring is very pretty!
PS: Make that - "The hang of that pad!"
ReplyDeleteGorgeous
ReplyDeleteThanx Guys.
ReplyDeleteI already know what I'm
gunna do for next year's
Fortuna Card; it will take
her in a whole new direction.
