  1. Hiya Jamie!! "Dad's hammer." What a cliffhanger!!! I'm envisioning a scene somewhat reminiscent of "The Shining".

  2. Yeah, if you have a sick mind haha ! Hey, have you seen the AMC series The Killing yet ? I have just about gobbled up season one in 3 days; highly recommend. It keeps you wondering about many facets of the ripple effect that comes after a violent crime.

My favorite line here was: My Fish & I are friends.

    Is that even possible ?

  4. Hi Jamie!!! I watched the first episode of The Killing on my flight to or from Brasil. I was annoyed by the part of the politician in the storyline. One of my co-workers also recommends this series. Favorite lines...WTF are you doing hopping in a "chrash can"??? Youngsters of the world: don't hop into trash cans or dumpsters or anywhere filled with human refuse!! You can get loads of diseases from this frivolous activity!!! If you must hop, hop elsewhere!! Also, why did you end up in Peter's house instead of Karl's house? Karl's parents must have been major a-holes if they didn't let you -- such an admirer of Karl's hat -- visit!!! But at least they let the both of you run their errands to the store...

  5. Yeah; chrash can sounds more exciting, doesn't it ? You have to watch at least 3-4 episodes in a row of the Killing in order to really get sucked in, and, the Political story arc gets better the deeper it gets in the series. This is a complex web of events, everything is connected, and, seemingly, NO ONE is innocent !

  6. Hi Jamie!!! Yeah! They way you spelled "trash can" is exactly how I would hope my students would spell it (in a spontaneous piece of writing). It would signify that they have a mastery of rudimentary phonics! And we focus on phonics such a great deal!! Indeed, "tr" and "dr" are dreadfully tricky for them young 'uns...
