BALLPOINT PEN & STYROFOAM CONTAINERS !

Next time you get take-out & it
comes in one of those large square
styrofoam containers ? Save the top
and the bottom, wash them off, let
them dry, then bust out a ballpoint
pen and press hard enough to etch
into the material... then... brush
watercolors, acrylic paint, or ink
over the whole thing or certain
areas and press paper evenly
atop the entire image. Peel
off carefully and- WAH-LAH !

LOST CHIMNEY-MONKEY SKETCH

Chimney-Monkeys are a concept from
my adolescent years, about a 3rd-World
Future bogged down by War & Pollution.
These creatures are much like Gremlins,
but a higher-evolved species of Monkey

TWO SIDES OF THE SAME SHEET !

This silly side of the paper has
a few totally random cartoons
by long-time friend/collaborator
Erik Victor McCrea. Check out
his Heliopolis web-page HERE,
and learn all about other Micro-
Nation & Fantasy Coins HERE.

This other side has a macabre Undead
Gypsy Fortune Teller on it, which I
can't recall came before or after:

THE HEATHENS, BAND POSTER/FLYERS

Lived in Boulder Colorado back in

advert around town for upcoming
shows. It would be cool to find one
still buried under other pieces of
paper on a telephone pole...

Some time ago I posted much
of Dream Journal Volume 2
here, and, there was one illo

Kevin & I waiting in
ambush to slay the
renowned Vampire

Recently,
I re-discovered the
following playbill
that more than
likely inspired
that nocturne...

LOST CHARACTER DESIGN SKETCH

This was an early sketch of an 'Elite'
from the epic unfinished Graphic
Novel "500 YELLOW BIKES"...

Found sandwiched between odd-
ball religious pamphlets in one of
my art tool-boxes. I used to get
visits on Sunday Mornings
from Jehovah's Witnesses.
