HOMEMADE X-MAS CARDS, CAN U SUPPLY A PUNCHLINE ?!

Could not find the original
punchline to the homemade
Christmas card directly
below... It was short &
sweet, I think, hand-
written inside each
cardstock print.
Can you think up
a funny punchline
for it ? I will post EVERY
response and even illustrate
imagery if required. Thanx !

Now this next card I found in
my dusty ol' box of artistic
endeavors does have a
punchline~ which~
though a tad abstract,
appears more applicable
here in 2o11 than when I
busted it out in the Mid-
1990's !! The hand-written
message was only in this
particular copy, which
was returned to sender
(me) because Louis
DeAngelis moved
to a different
apartment !
Otherwise
I would have
no record and/or
zero recollection
of this X-Mas offering:

  1. Remember that card I sent you last year?

Well I need you to dig it back out and change the date on it and send it to this address: _______
(I'm low on stamps and cards this year)
    Thanks in advance!

  3. Remember that card I sent you last year?

If you still have it, can you change the word "love" to "like"? I've had uncomfortable and disingenuous feelings about it all year.

Glad to get that off my chest,
    Jamie

  4. Those don't have anything to do with a melted snowman, but that adds to the unsatisfying feeling these punchlines deliver.

  5. Ha ! Your 1st response is probably pretty close to the actual punchline ! I wish I knew who to contact to see if one still exists. It is hard for my current abstract mind to figger the direction my old abstract mind was heading with this one. Grrrr.

I know that feeling. I have inexplicable drawings and notes to myself.
