  2. I am lovin' all of these excerpts! I understand why you stopped recording. I can relate to the obsessive aspect of the task (I wrestle with OCD in various levels of my daily wordsmithing). But I SO wish you would have continued, also wishing that the process wouldn't have caused you so much ongoing misery. If the Dream Journals had been your SOLE creative product, then it all woulda worked out nicely. You wouldn't, perhaps, be dreading those time-consuming moments of recalling/writing/illustrating (on account of those moments monopolizing your creative energies). I have tremendous respect/awe of these Dream Journals. I think eventually, you would have attained/maintained a "clinical" aspect to your journalling -- writing daily for about 30-60 minutes and perhaps illustrating for another 30-60 minutes. Stretching all of those creative muscles as a matter of routine, like the way people go to the gym. But you needed to steer your ambitions elsewhere, so I perfectly understand why you ended the project. You no longer record ANY dreams? Even the most amazing ones?

  3. I love this stuff, the first one so sweet as to how much children want so badly to love their parents, sons often having a hard time with fathers. Also, school seen as a division between knife throwers and those who have knives thrown at them is very interesting - also that the knife throwers are often reluctant and the receivers are reluctantly hopeful of being hit.

    Also, what KW said.

  4. Mykal: there certainly is a logic to the Dreamworld that defies explanation upon waking, yet... when it inspires one to THINK... everything makes sense if we're all connected !

Erik: I tried to be clinical, and succeeded at times, but~ it was more like a relationship with a Woman, where~ you get sucked into the energy regardless of a battle-plan or mindset. The map, especially insofar as Dream Journaling, is NEVER the territory. Does a Human know when to end their relationship with a Charismatic Vampire ? Like quitting smoking; very hard to do but FINAL. I have not recorded a dream since the mid-90's; unless it pertained to a screenplay project.
