Right around this time last year, I began whole-
heartedly to teach myself the Art of Photoshop...
Ugh ! What a painful process !
But now, a full year later I can honestly say I am
glad that this software exists, and I am becoming
more and more adept with each passing project.
Below is my very first effort; an old drawing from
2005, Photoshop colored in 2009. It features myself
(far left, as usual) and some of the local kids here on
Ocracoke. We invented this sick twisted game called
Dirty Rag, in which you 'freshen up' an old rag in a
fresh storm mud-puddle, then chase each other
around and whack each other in the face & body
with it ! You use an old cut-off broom-stick to
hurl the rag at high velocities like a sling-shot,
and to pass the rag back and forth to your
partner just like in Lacrosse !
Ha ha! This drawing is very nice! And the game idea is great! There are a ton of kids in my neighborhood I'd love to slap across the face with a wet, dirty rag! This is genius! You've devised a way to do just that without getting arrested!
ReplyDeleteCool art and coloring, but far more importantly, I want in for the next round of Dirty Rag! If I were you, I'd copyright that. But then again, the game has more the flavor of Stickball; ie: a game played and beloved by the masses unintended for commercial structure of profit.

in a couple years. Once a couple
of Mothers found out, they brought
up sanitation concerns and shut us
down (boo hiss). I mean, how are we
supposed to strengthen our immune
systems if we don't eat a little
bacteria now and again ?
