Photography was my hobby back
in the 1980's & 90's, when this was
an EXPENSIVE hobby to have. My
medium of choice: Ektachrome &
Kodachrome SLIDE film. To this
day, I have literally bags & boxes
full of un-digitized slide photos.
It is the reason why I bought a
high-quality scanner to begin
with. Scanning comics & art
became an off-shoot of a
massive endeavor to archive
all my slide positives & film
negatives. The rest of this
week, I will be posting
some of my favorite
portrait people...
Liz, circa 1988...
Beautiful smile on Liz! I love that last one, both cat and girl have same expression. Very nice work!! Beautiful texture to the photos.
ReplyDeleteThanx, Mykal. I pretty much gave up photography in the mid-nineties because it was eating a hole in my pocket~ right about the time it was just about to become extremely cheap & easy ! Maybe I will pick the hobby up again when Pentax k-1000's come back in fashion ! (hey, they now have 'Polaroid' actions for Photoshop, so hope springs eternal we will see a gritty comeback) (he says, typing this missive on an Olympia Monica Deluxe typewriter that has been custom crafted into a computer-friendly hybrid)
