Disclaimer: Not sure I even knew what
a Homosexual was back when this doodle
was born, and, it was way before the term
Politically Correct was being thrown
around...

Anyway... my worm-eating Homo-

  1. So I know basically nothing about comic books except that I am pretty much in love with all superheros. And I did love love love Sandman.

Ergo, I haven't been commenting on these posts because I TRY not to open my big fat mouth when I know I have no idea what I'm talking about.

(Ok, that is a big fat lie. I love to open my gob when I have no idea what I'm talking about...)

But anyway, I get a kick out of the fact that you are publishing these. I have similar notebooks, but they are full of crappy poetry. I don't have the cajones to publish them....

Oh, and I like "The Operation."

  2. That's the nice thing about Stalking each others' Blog... no comments necessary (I can hear your heavy breathing).

As far as comic art- what's there to know ? Think of them as stand-alone visual poems, jerky serials, epic babbles, or sweet little haikus from the Far Side. Like Groucho Marx used to say about incessant joke-telling: "Most of them fail, but- every once in a while- there's that one..."

  3. "Sweet little haikus from the Far Side." I LOVE it. this should totally be the title for... something. Your next blog, maybe.

And HEY! I'm only breathing like that because I ran so hard to get to the computer to see your new blog... it's not because I'm stalking you, I SWEAR.

  4. Just got some WRITER oriented news Alexa~

~326 screenplays made it into the Quarter-Final round of the esteemed Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting competition and my script Z-naught was NOT one of them...

But I did make it into the top 15 percent out of 6,304 screenplays, and got read & graded three times before getting knocked out, so I am happy (I did not expect my story to make it even that deep into the reading rounds because it is quite complex & emotionally draining).
