Looks great! Your dvd cover is half done.
This would be the logo for a 36 pg bi-monthly comic book. When IDW brought back Popeye, I was super-inspired by that format. A longer story, with or without a continuing arc, and a 5-7 page back-up story with other characters from the Popeye universe. When I get sick of writing screenplays, I really wanna be a comic book Artist when I grow up ! And The Klown Rebellion is the only concept I would ever consider doing on a regular basis, with 30-some characters and plenty of ideas for their limited dilemma (the Gilligan's Island dilemma), stuck on a deserted Island.
You are right, this Klown Rebellion would be an awesome premise for a comic! You'd never run out of ideas.Yes, I too love the new Popeye long stories. I most love when he has a sea adventure. Those aren't as often as I'd like. The land adventures are still very entertaining though and I'm glad they are doing them.
sadly... IDW recently cancelled the new Popeye comic. sorry to break the news. not sure if they are keeping 'Classic Popeye' or not.
