These are getting greater as they come. I like the little diagrams on the sides of the descriptions. These journals could be used as movie props for what the police find in a crazed and evil genius' bedroom. Upon finding these journals they know they are in for some big trouble.
You shouldn't have pointed that out, KW... now you are the one in jeopardy. Better sleep with one eye open mr. 'monster', else trouble find YOU ! hahahahahahahahaha ;~j
The soundtrack to this particular scene is crucial. When the police 1st open up the journal the droning music starts. It's made up of 2 quiet notes exactly the same, so there's a chorus effect in the sound. As the cop turns more and more pages, one of the 2 notes bends ever so slightly more and more off-key, and louder, until at the end it's a curdlingly putrid and frightening stab of dramatic sound pounding into the viewer's ear and brain.Maybe it could be ran through a guitar distortion pedal, and the drive is gradually cranked higher and higher too.
By journal 3, friends & family were convinced I was psycho... gosh, I miss them ! seriously though, I can wait til you film Blood Brood to incorporate all your myriad skills, but especially your music knowledge experience !
