KW: Unfortunately, I did not continue the strip long enough to get into Hatman's complete HISTORY OF HATS examination. Remember that Bugs Bunny cartoon where the hat truck gets into an accident and all the hats blow around and Bugs & Elmer take on the personalities of each HAT ?
That was part of the inspiration for this character and the intended format was to explore, via our imaginations, different time periods through headgear !
