Hi Jamie! Boy, I really got into all of these Bush Baby videos. I especially liked the voice-over on this latest one. It was nice to hear your voice again!! There are quite a few feral cats in the park behind our house. Over the past couple of years, they've rapidly replaced (eaten?) all the cute rabbits that we used to feed with lettuce, celery, etc...So I have mixed feelings about these felines...poor guys. I feel for 'em!
It's strange for these cats on the island Erik, because, they have limited real-estate with which to survive, and, the elements tend to be harsh & extreme no matter what time of year. They all end up with ear infections because of the moisture ever-prevalent, and pollen count. You will see them shake their heads often. The ferals live half as long as the domesticated cats. I hear ya about them cute bunnies gett'n slaughtered. This is disturbing. We are all trying to find food & shelter. Love is a luxury ! Thankfully, our RAT infestation is gone now that the Cats are flourishing. No easy solution for so many environmental problems... The Native Americans were so wise to study the reproductive cycles of all creatures and to help maintain a proper balance.
