Well they were the best I could do for being self-taught up to that point in time. My actual understanding of human anatomy didn't occur until years later, after dropping out of school. I have found my retention for true learning is much greater when seeking knowledge for pleasure (instead of grades etc.), and I am sure you have come to realize this as well.
Funny how my Odysseus resembles Him (Adam Warlock). I was big into Jim Starlin work around this period ;~j

Alot of great stuff born from simple ballpoint and notbook paper. Learning is in the doing...I wish I'd have spent as much time doing.
