TESTING MONSTER PEN-BRUSHES...

What are Monster Pen-Brushes ? Why, homemade pens & brushes of course ! It takes hours of pain-staking trial & error to create one worth keeping & actually using, but I lucked out recently with 2 out of 4 attempts and here are some straight-in-ink test drawings:

RE-DESIGNING "SASSY" FROM THE KLOWN REBELLION

As I ever so slowly creep toward producing my 1st feature-length comic magazine, The Klown Rebellion, I am squeezing out bathroom doodles with some major & minor changes going into effect for most of the established Characters. Once they are ship-wreck stranded on a deserted Island, their wardrobe options will be extremely limited so it's important my designs for them are solid, and, more importantly, fun to draw. There must also be separation between them, so no two characters look alike. The cast will be International in flavor, complete with a Muslim Elephant Boy etc. Here is the last surviving Acrobat from The Shooting Star-Spangles troupe, a feisty cross-eyed girl appropriately nick-named "Sassy".
